Hey GirlFriends!
I am constantly trying to move towards becoming a better person. Its a daily challenge on how I can be more efficient and effective in my lifestyle choices. I think our true character is always at work in our heart and in our mind. How people perceive us is important but how people know us is even more important because ultimately thats how we will be remembered. People sometimes aren't concerned with developing their character because it has no material value in the form of a tangible item. Character is the taste you leave in peoples mouth after you leave them. Its how they know how to speak of who you are based on your habitual actions. What do you want people to say about you when you are gone? It may not seem important but its your legacy and everyone has one. Just some food for thought ..

Hey GirlFriends,
It's Monday Monday! The weekend is gone and its time to set some new goals. Goal setting can be refreshing and motivating. We are almost at the 6 month point in the calendar year and now is the time to evaluate if you are on track for hitting your yearly goals. If you are not on track then reevaluation may be needed to go the distance in getting them completed. Setting new goals can be the jumpstart at the midway point that is just what the doctor called for in your life. So continue to track ya goals regularly and then make adjustments accordingly. You should be excited about accomplishing something new. Set new goals often and regularly!

Hey GirlFriends!
Well I hope you enjoyed the video on Dear GirlFriend Diaries YouTube Channel for yesterday about why you need a coach! This week I am hoping to do at least one more video before I do the next share my story segment. We are very excited about some of the things we are doing with Dear GirlFriend Diaries. In the very near future, I am putting together a panel of women to discuss some of the challenges that we encounter as women and in womanhood. This panel will shed light on a topic that we feel will bring value to a community of woman to inspire unity that supersedes race, religion, creed, etc. Dear GirlFriend Diaries is a platform for all woman alike so that we can begin to breakdown barriers that have created division. As women no matter what background we come from we all have similar challenges and struggles at work, home, or play. We hope to begin to uncover some of the mysteries, secrets, and falsehoods that have kept us apart for so long. Dear GirlFriend Diaries is for all of us to share in together as we cross into new territory. I am excited so get excited with us as we learn how to take our rightful place and empower our children, economics, communities.

Hey GirlFriends!
So excited today. Well the weekend was good right?! I enjoyed my mother's day because I got to celebrate with my mom and my children. So this week on Dear GirlFriend Diaries YouTube Channel I will be previewing a new video "Why You Need A Coach." This is one of my favorite videos only because its helps us to see that we need help in order to grow. Sometimes as women we like to be strong especially when we are single and all by ourselves. It really doesn't matter who you are and where you are in your career or life you can become stuck and thats because we can only get so far by ourselves. Eventually we need an objective opinion. An independent outlook which requires it be someone who is not dependent on the success of our goals. Your coach should be in line with your overall goals by not depending on their success. Every successful person has one and why shouldn't you?? You should have a coach and in this video I want to convince you "Why You Need A Coach." (I am not a coach and I can not make recommendations) I just want to see as many women as possible get to their desired destination. So girlfriends lets get ready to move into our destiny!
Until next time GirlFriends!

Hey GirlFriends!
Whats up? So today I posted some new video content and I really hope you enjoy this one! I watched it today and was learning something for myself .. LoL! This video is about developing survival skills and passing the tests in ya life. So often we get caught up in our everyday life so much so that we lose our way during our journey. I often get distracted by my own wants and desires instead of focusing on the bigger picture which is much bigger than me alone. This is the very first video I published because I felt it necessary that people have simple instructions on passing the little tribulations in their own lives. Most times we are focused on the struggle and not the matter at hand but when you flip the switch and understand that you are a part of something so magnificent you begin to view ya circumstances much differently. It makes it so much more less personal which also makes it easier to handle. So sit back and take notes as you watch Passing the Test and remember Just do it!

Hey GirlFriends,
So I took the day off yesterday and now Im back! Well Wednesday is here and I was trying to brainstorm some new topics. I would really like to know of issues and topics that are related to my girlfriends out there. Im sure as young woman you face plenty of obstacles and could use guidance and insight about life. This blog is geared towards all women but especially younger woman because when I was younger I had someone to help guide me along the way. It made a huge difference on who I am today. I have made much better decision in my life because of some of the women that have invested in me as a young woman, especially my mother who was tough minded. So with that being said I just want to do the same for some other young women who could use a little push.
Last but not least, new content will be up this week on The GirlFriend Diaries YouTube Channel so look out for it.

Hey GirlFriends,
Well today I am posting fairly late because I had such an emotional day. I had to clear the air with a good friend about some of our communication issues. I got to thinking about how much texting has completely changed communication. Texting has created barriers to effective communications because a text shows no emotion, intent, or tone. On a positive note, texting has created more access to others because you can get a message to someone fairly easily with out hassle or delay. We now are able to communicate more quickly and efficiently than ever before but sometimes not as effectively. So this got me to thinking what is proper etiquette when sending a text message? In my opinion there are a few basic suggestions to good text communication.
1. Keep message short and sweet.
2. Never send angry or important info in messages.
3. Respond within a reasonable time frame.
My question to the audience:
Are these reasonable measures to take for text communication?
How do you feel about people who primarily text to communicate with you?
Well GirlFriends talk to you soon!

Hey GirlFriends!
Saturday is here and that means Issa weekend time! Anyway, I wanted to take this time today to talk a little bit about the words love vs luv. I often feel as if, today people are not showing luv or giving love as much as they possibly can. I use the expression Luv L.U.V. to show luv to something like for example an Artist's work. So if I really really enjoy the music or work of an Artist I will express it by saying I luv their music or art. You will almost always hear me refer to the person's work and not the actual person because I don't know the person personally. I use the term L.U.V. to express appreciation to things and people outside of my immediate friends & family. I do this to take some of the emphasis off of the words being expressed so that love is shown but not in a super mushy way. The word love L.O.V.E is use to express affection to my immediate family and spouse. Simply because we are in an era where we use texting and messages more often than ever before. Every day we send texts which are basically mini letters to others that we have immediate access to. So I will tell my children, I love you because its personal and I actually do know and love them.
With that said, why are we showing more hate and less luv to others? I just can't understand why we are so disrespectful and dysfunctional towards each other as HUMAN BEINGS. Does it hurt us to express and show luv? We are programmed to think that if we show luv to others that it takes away from our persona and some how that's more important than to give or express appreciation. If you go online you will find more expressions of hate towards another than you will luv. So I ask the question, Is love/luv lost?
